What is a life goal?
Posted on November 27th, 2008
My definition of a life goal is the pursuit and fulfilment of lifelong dream.
Pursuing life goals is usually longer and harder than the simple average goal, however, once achieved they are something that brings us enormous satisfaction and happiness. They become part of our lives and even part of our identity. They are embedded in who we are as human beings
More than often the establishment of a life goal is a process that needs a break down to mini-goals as these types of goals can take years to achieve. We need to continually advance ourselves and grow while enjoying the journey.
Life goals also have lasting benefits and involve skills that stay with you for life. These skills grow as you mature, building your inner core and giving you control of yourself and your life.
Some examples of life goals:
Achieve Financial Freedom
Become a doctor
Run a Marathon
Travel the world
Become a parent
Volunteer
Meditate daily
The list is long and we all have different types and tastes; we just need to make sure we visit the depth of our hearts before setting a life goal…
Live your dreams!
