Inspiration comes and goes fast. One way to stay inspired is to reflect on past experiences and examine your own and other people’s successes. Another way is to actively look for it.
In this page, I’ll be sharing some of the most important life lessons I’ve learned so far. This will be an ongoing collection of observations about living life, pursuing dreams and making changes.
my hope is that through this collection, you’ll be even more inspired as you pursue your own meaningful path.
1000 Motivational Thoughts
#1: Strengths overused can eventually become a burden. Find the optimal balance for you.
#2: Willpower and self control are vastly overrated. Build strong habits instead.
#3: Adventure equals unknown. Embrace uncertainty, let go of wanting security.
#4: If you see life as a race, you will never win it. Savor the journey instead.
#5: Money is just an idea, a number on a screen. Focus on its sources instead. One of them is YOU.
#6: Inspiration is a form of energy. Act on it or its gone.
#7: For every external struggle, there is an internal struggle. Look inside first.
#8: Life might not have any innate purpose, but it’s damn sure more fun to choose one for yourself.
#9: Important decisions and increased tiredness is an ineffective combination. Sleep on it, it can wait.
#10: Motivation is a form of stress. If you feel too lazy, then perhaps you want to consciously add a dose of stress into your tranquil life.
#11: The key for achieving “Someday Dreams” is called urgency. Think how you can create that urgency and turn your “Someday” into “Today”.
#12: Instead of pursuing more information, pursue taking more action.
#13: Instead of saying “It’s frustrating”, say “I make myself frustrated because of it”. Take ownership of your feelings.
#14: True love is unconditional but relationship is always conditional. Better you both know what your red lines are.
#15: Creativity is more effective when it’s active. Set aside time to focus on nothing but creative work.
#16: Rewards are usually in direct proportion to the value you create. Aim to provide more value than was expected of you.
#17: Your busyness doesn’t mean you’re being effective. Focus on what’s important instead and leave the life of chronic busyness.
#18: Expectations are a good recipe for disappointment. Want something badly but be detached as to whether it happens or not.
